Robert (Bob) L. Plait

Robert comes from a background of Law Enforcement. Employed as a Los Angeles Police Officer and a Riverside Police Officer, he came in direct contact with the prevention of Crime.  Security systems protected many homes and business with the first step in alerting the police of break-ins, robberies and fires.  Realizing that these preventative measures were a needed and worthwhile investment, he opened his first Security Company in Riverside County, California in 1973.

The family business was started with the dedication being directed to fair pricing, best equipment available and customer satisfaction. Needless to say, the Company grew to be the largest independent in Riverside County in 1986.  After the hustle of the big city grew old, Robert and his family moved to the Verde Valley area in late 2005.

Arizona Security Company was formed and opened by the Plaits in 2005.  The office is located in Cottonwood and serves the entire Verde Valley.

Robert and Rhonda reside in Rimrock @ the Airport.  He is an avid licensed pilot and enjoys working on airplanes.  They enjoy flying with their “girls” (Piper & Cessna, both minature white schnauzers), who do, wear “bomber jackets” with their patches!!

Robert (Rob) M. Plait

Rob started in the Security Industry in the early 1970’s, helping in the installation and pulling wires for Senior Technicians.  He has accomplished many certificates over the years for designing, installing and servicing Security & Fire, Camera’s as well as Home Automation.  He is dedicated to the satisfaction of the “Customer”.

Once known by Lead Technicians and Senior Technicians as “the only 9 year old that knew the difference between “open & closed circuits”, and capable of taping glass windows” (the old silver tape, that was placed on the perimeter of windows). He’s been in every attic known (smallest) and knows how to do excellent installs.

Rob is active in the field as well as assists in the daily operations of the company through the office. His ownership goes beyond the office, he is responsible for training of technicians, scheduling of jobs,  inspecting and testing of all equipment as well as installation. He is rated as one of the only qualified technicians in Northern Arizona, for Elk Home Automation.

Rob resides in Cottonwood.  He is an active member in the Cottonwood Chamber of  Commerce and Verde Valley Referrals Club. He also enjoys computers, working on his (flying) trike, camping and travel.

Rhonda K Plait

Rhonda became aware of the much needed safety of security systems in the 1980's while she worked at a law office.  She eventually went back to college to achieve a degree in the medical field specializing in emergent, acute and critical respiratory care (her passion in serving the community).

Rhonda's assists in the day to day operations, including all data input, credit card billing, accounts payable and receivable.  She continually handles new customer relations and works with vendors in ordering parts. She is available for assisting customers in understanding the ability and functions of the G.E. Rhonda is a fairly new licensed pilot that has spent most of her flight time as copilot next to Bob in their twin. She loves gardening, hiking, hangar flying and spending time in her kitchen.
